On the weekend of November 21st. The Goderich Hyundai Atom team travelled to Mildmay to play in the South Bruce tournament. With a somewhat short bench for the day, the team faced a strong Minto Mad Dogs team. Unfortunately Goderich came up short losing 5-2.
The next game would bring a different Goderich team. They came out flying vs the host South Bruce Blades. Goderich would come out on top in a tight battle 3-2 and move on to the B final.
After finding out they would play the undefeated Saugeen Shores team, Goderich knew they were in tough, but not discouraged. A 4-2 final would determine, they are the B champs. The kids showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament and made all the coaches and parents proud. Congrats kids.
