Keeping the Momentum Going
The Goderich PeeWee LL team kept their momentum going in Wingham on Tuesday night.

The Wingham team came out strong in the physical department, but Goderich kept their heads in the game. Goderich started scoring in the first period With Tyson Carter scoring on an assist from Nathan Erb. Luc Arbour added to the scoreboard also on an assist from Erb, leaving the score at 2-0 at the end of the first period.
In the second, Nathan Erb found the net himself, after a pass from Tyson Carter. Wingham scored back making it 3-1 at the end of the second.
The third period found Wingham desparate to find a way to get past the Goderich defencemen of Josh Hewitt, Tyler Phillips, Quin Ross and Dirk Wolterbeek, but Goderich again scored with a goal from Daniel McNeil off a pass from Liam Shore and Alex Gentner.
Wingham was able to net another goal, yet Goderich proved they weren't finished with yet another goal coming from Alex Gentner off of  Daniel McNeil and Liam Shore.
The boys are playing well together and Cody Souch, Christian Pritchard and Mitchel Brewester all proved they were a force to be rekoned with on the ice by keeping the Wingham forwards tied up preventing Wingham from getting past the blue line.  Kyle Prouse was a force in the Goderich Net being able to stop the shots that Wingham was able to get on him and being able to keep the final score at 5-2.
Next home game is Thursday November 10, 2011 at the MRC at 7:00 when Goderich faces off against Tiverton.
