Exciting Tie Game Against the Ice Dogs!
Jan. 8 (BCH Ice Dogs at Goderich Sailors)
The rematch with the formidable Ice Dogs resulted in a
very tight battle throughout the entire game. BCH’s goal at the 5:18 mark of the first period was
countered by Nathan at the 2:01 mark to end the period in a 1-1 tie. The second and third period were a back
and forth showdown between the two equally matched teams. All the boys worked hard on their defense
and offense. The game was also very
much a ‘battle of the goalies’, with a strong performance by Kyle who made some
absolutely awesome saves!
All in all, it was a very exciting game to watch, with a few shorter fingernails for the fans after the many close chances by the Sailors and the Ice Dogs! The boys will need keep up the hard work and be on the top of their game for upcoming matches with the Ice Dogs.
