PeeWee LL Sailor VS Blyth Bulldogs
On Monday October 19th the Goderich PeeWee LL played their first game of the season against the Blyth Bulldogs.
The PeeWee LL put forth a great amount of effort in their first game of the season with a grand total of 25 shots on Blyth's net. The Bulldogs goalie had a quick chest and as a result allowed only one goal in, after many attempts and with just over 3 minutes left in the third period Courtney Gardiner scored the only goal for the PeeWee Sailors.
Both goalies in their own turn tried to block out the competition and did succeed in keeping lots of shots out but the fierce competition kept on striking and in the end of the game the Bulldogs managed to score 7 goals.
The Sailors kept their spirits up and showed a great amount of team work and as a result they had a great first game of the season. Next time the Bulldogs need to beware because next time they won't be so lucky!
