Busy Weekend Produces 3 Big Wins
The Sailors started the weekend in Wallace against Listowel Friday night,Travelled to Southampton against Sauggen Shores Saturday afternoon and finished in Kincardine Sunday morning.Winning all three games.

Friday night we traveled to Wallace to face Listowel minus our Caption Kyle Stanbury,but with great team spirt the team pulled together and played a great game winning 3-1 for their missing caption.Callum Robinson opened the scoring on a great hussle play from James Zolob and Callum banged in a rebound.David fincher banged home the second goal of the game with good hard work in front of the net.James Zolob finished the scoring on a pass out front from Mark Morris. Jacob Abbott made some great glove saves and our defence stood tall holding the Cyclones to 1 goal.It was a Great team effort everyone of the players stepped up their game and played awesome.


On Saturday we traveled to Southampton and skated away with a 6-2 victory. Saugeen Shores came out and got the jump on the Sailors early scoring seconds into the first period but Callum Robinson tied the game before the end of the period on a pass from Josh Larkin from the point. Mark Morris and James Zolob scored unassisted goals in the second giving the Sailors a 3-2 lead going into the third period. The Sailors legs came to life in the third scoring three times to win 6-2 Scoring in the third for the Sailors was Kaden Hoggarth with a assist going to Mark Morris. Ethan Hewitt banged home a nice pass out of the corner from Mark Morris,and Mark Morris scored to round out the scoring. The team battled through a tough game and being a couple of players short but showed alot of grit getting the win.


Sunday Morning traveled to Kincardine where the team was given a boost by the return of the Caption Kyle Stanbury and they showed it early with Carter Thomlinson banging home a rebound on a hard shot from Mark Morris 13 seconds into the game. Kaden Hoggarth scored a unassisted goal to give the Sailors a 2-1 lead going into the second period.The Sailors poured on the pressure in the second with David Fincher banging home a shot out front on a pass from Kyle Stanbury.Mark Morris scored on a pass from Carter Thomlinson and Kyle Stanbury scored on a pass from James Zolob to extend their lead to 5-2 after two periods of play.The Sailors never let up and continued to pressure the Kinucks scoring three more times on goals by Kyle Stanbury(2) to get the Hat Trick
Kaden Hoggrath with one assists going to Callum Robinson Kyle Stanbury and Josh Larkin.Another great team victory to move the Sailors 1 point a head of Listowel for first over-all. Great weekend of hockey Team keep up the great work.
