So close against Lucknow!
This game was a very exciting and very physical one too!
In the first period of this game Lucknow scored within 30 seconds and then took 4 shots back to back with everyone having a rebound shot as well at Aaron, and he did amazing by not letting any of them in! Great job Aaron! Our first and second goals were in the first period as well. The first one by Steve DeJager with a beautiful breakaway from the blue line. The second goal was an awesome breakaway as well by Jamie Willis from behind the centre line. The second period was one that we really dont see very often, we were short one player on the ice for a total of 8 minutes out of the ten due to a 2 minute penalty first and then followed by a 6 minute penalty. Aaron did amazing fending off Lucknow while being short, but they got one and tied it up 2-2 with 2 minutes left. Then with 20 seconds on the clock Lucknow scored again and now it was 3-2 for them. The third period was a very hard hitting and physical one with our team taking the roughest end of it with referees missing a lot of punching and dirty plays by Lucknow. We played great fair and hard game. All you boys should be very proud of yourselves for playing so well during this game!
