Silverstick Results
The Goderich Sailors battled hard at the Kincardine Regional Silverstick over the weekend. The Sailors came up with a 3 - 1 win in the first game against the Ayr Flames. Goals went to Chace Duckworth, Carson Lamb and Josh Whitely. Assists went to Duckworth, Whitley, Nick Elliott and Zac Lamb.
The second game pitted the Sailors against the Hanover Falcons. However, Goderich came up short with a 3 - 1 loss. Scoring the Sailors' lone goal was Jeff Gordon, assisted by Josh Allen.
The Sailors had to face the hometown team, the Kincardine Kinucks in their 3rd game. The boys came out strong and played a great game. Despite the Sailors hard work and best efforts, luck was not on their side. They were defeated 1 - 0. Goalie, Jason Huber had yet another great game and tournament.
Strong efforts also by Ed Brunk, Jared Little, Andrew Avis, Lane Pitblado, Wade Collins, and Brad Gethke. Great tournament boys with 3 strong games.
