The Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) system is used by thousands of minor hockey associations across Canada. Please be sure to carefully read all the instructions on all pages - particularly the waivers section.

NOTE: 2012 Players *

If a 2012 player moves into the Tyke Age Group - Tyke fees will apply.  If a 2012 player is successful in making a Tyke level team, an additional registration fee will be; assessed, added to the appropriate player's invoice and emailed out to the parent/guardian.  Payment is due prior to hitting the ice.

NOTE: 2011 Players **

If a 2011 player moves into the Novice Age Group - Novice fees will apply.  If a Tyke player (2011) is successful in making a Novice Team (Rep or Local League), an additional registration fee will be; assessed, added to the appropriate player's invoice and emailed out to the parent/guardian.  Payment is due prior to hitting the ice. 

First Year Players = FREE Registration

FIRST YEAR players born in 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014 can Register and play for FREE. Must Register by May 14, 2018 for the 2018-2019 season.

Registering for a first time with GMHI?  50% Discount 

All other players (Juvenile excluded) entering their first year with Goderich Minor Hockey will play with a 50% discount if registered before May 14, 2018. Contact [email protected] for more details or for assistance in Registering.

Registration Deadlines, Payment Plans, & Early Bird Discount

Payment plans are ONLY available online if registered by May 14, 2018 at midnight.

This year we will offer the Early Bird Discount $100.  The Goderich Minor Hockey Executive is asking everyone to Register as early as possible since it will help with planning for the 2018-2019 season.  In addition, registering on, or before, May 14th will ensure you receive an Early Bird Discount of $100.
 

All registrations received by May 14th will be subject to an EARLY BIRD Discount of $100 fee per registrant.

Mandatory Fundraising

In an effort to keep registration costs down, Goderich Minor Hockey is continuing the "Cash Calendars" fundraiser. The Cash Calendar fundraiser is mandatory for each registrant.  We offer a discount for families,  per family in Goderich Minor Hockey.  

Cash calendars will be distributed by your child's team Manager and only given to those who pay for them, all paying players will be required to pay for and contribute to fundraising. 

Payment Options

1.  credit card - pay all fees up-front

2.  credit card - "scheduled payments" where there is no deposit and the balance is automatically split into four equal payments and billed to your credit card on 15th of each month (May, June, July & August). The final payment on August 15, 2018. Payment plans with credit cards are available until May 14.

3.  e-transfer - pay all fees up-front *New for the 2018-2019 Season

4.  e-transfer - "payment plan as determined by you" due in FULL August 15th, 2018

HCR online registration does NOT support e-transfer payment option at this time.

Note:  Full payment must be made by August 15th, 2018  Your player will be ineligible to participate in tryouts, exhibition games and/or regular season if their account is not paid in full by August 15th.  This will be strictly enforced. Financial Assistance is available please see below.

Respect In Sport for Parents

Beginning in 2014, at least one parent or guardian of every player must complete the online Respect In Sport (RIS) program prior to the player's participation.  If you have completed this course and need to add a new player to your account please follow the online instructions to "add a child".  Every child must have this qualification on their file before they can be put on a Roster.  For more information about the RIS program, please visit this page.

Click the button below to start the online registration process using the HCR system.  All members of Goderich Minor Hockey who participated last year will be logging into their existing account in the HCR system.  If this is your first year playing with Goderich Minor Hockey you will be creating a NEW account.  After clicking the link below, you will log in using the information you created last year.  If you have forgotten your password there are links to assist you.  Be sure to read and follow all on-screen instructions carefully.

Birth Certificates

For any first-time registrant who has not participated in minor hockey before, it is required that a copy of the player's Birth Certificate be provided to Goderich Minor Hockey as soon as possible after registration. A copy of the Birth Certificate MUST be sent via email to [email protected]

Refund Policy

The Goderich Minor Hockey refund policy is provided in both the association's Constitution and the Policy Manual, both of which are found online. Full refunds are available until August 15, after which partial refunds are provided depending on how far into the season the refund is provided. Please refer to those documents for specific schedules of refund amounts per time of season.

Financial Assistance

Goderich Minor Hockey strongly recommends families who may need financial assistance to first utilize the Huron Recreation, Arts, & Sports Program (RASP). This program was created in 2015 to provide opportunities for children and youth across Huron County to participate in activities regardless of their financial circumstances.
