Hockey is BACK
Tryouts (U11-U18) run from Monday September 9th to Sunday September 15th - please follow the website calendar closely for times.
All players trying out for Rep teams this season are guaranteed 3 ice times. A list of the players that are invited to continue with the try out process will be posted after the 3rd ice time in each age division. These lists will appear as news articles under each age category (U11 Rep, U13 Rep, U15 Rep, U18 Rep).
Players not listed will be rostered to the local league team.
All local league teams will commence practice times the week of Sept 15th-21st.
U8-U18 Players:
GMHI issued game socks are a mandatory part of the uniform. If your player(s) have socks from last season that are still in great shape, they are able to use them again this year. Socks can be purchased at a cost of $30/pair.
Stay tuned for sock purchase dates and times in October (pickup will be in the front lobby of the Maitland Rec Centre).
Those unsure of sizing should bring along their shin guards to try on at the arena. GMHI issued socks are part of the Goderich Sailors uniform and players are expected to wear them for all games.
Game jerseys are provided for all U8-U18 players and are property of GMHI.
U7 Players will receive a Timbits jersey/socks at the beginning of the season at their first ice time.
GMHI Clothing e-Store is open for the first round of orders until September 14th, 2024. The estore will be opened again later on in the season as well.
For the first round of orders only, there will be a choice of shipping options - ship directly to you (at a cost) or ship to home center for free (select the "At my school or Club" option. Pick up date for orders will be approx 6 weeks from preorder deadline, (Order pick up will be in October - date TBD).
U7/U8/U9 - ice times will commence the week of Sept 15th - Sept 21st, 2024. Please check the website often for updates and times.
