It's Hockey Season Sailors!!IMPORTANT INFORMATION
GMHI is providing one pair of hockey socks to each player this season.
First pair of socks is free, any additional pairs needed will be at a cost of $25.
All players (even if your player does not plan to tryout for the rep teams) in U11 to U18 are asked to pick up their socks on Sunday September 10th between 230-730pm.
Those unsure of sizing should bring along their shin guards to try on at the arena. GMHI issued socks are part of the Goderich Sailors uniform and players are expected to wear them for all games.
Players in U9 and below will receive a jersey/socks at the beginning of the season from the season at their first ice time.
All registered players in U11 to U18 are invited and encouraged to attend the Pre-Season camp dates on
Saturday August 26th and Sunday August 27th - hosted by GMHI with assistance from the Goderich Deckhands and the Goderich Jr C Flyers.

The preseason camp skates are offered at no additional cost and are a series of skills and drills to help prepare those who are interested in trying out for rep teams. Each age division has two ice times on both the Saturday and Sunday - players are welcome to attend any or all of the times listed for their respective age category.
All registered players in U13 and U15/U18 are offered a body checking clinic before tryouts on September 9th.
All those wishing to play rep who have not previously attended a body checking clinic are strongly encouraged to attend before tryouts. Please see website calendar for times.
Tryouts for U11 to U18 begin September 10th - please follow the website closely for dates and times.
All players trying out for Rep teams this season are guaranteed 3 ice times. A list of the players that are invited to continue with the try out process will be posted after the 3rd ice time in each age division. These lists will appear as news articles under each age category (U11 Rep, U13 Rep, U15 Rep, U18 Rep). Players not listed will be rostered to the local league team.
Tryouts (U11-U18) run from Sunday September 10th to Sunday September 17th - please follow the website calendar closely for times.
GMHI Clothing e-Store will run from September 8th -September 17th. Sample sizing will be available to try on at the Maitland Rec Centre during the tryout skates. Link to the online store will be made available on Sept. 8th.
U7/U8/U9 - ice times will commence the week of Sept 17th - Sept 23rd, 2023. Please check the website often for updates and times.
