Welcome Back - Reminders
Submitted By Executive on Friday, September 10, 2021
Hello GMHI families,

We are excited to have players return to the arena with ice times starting this weekend. Please read carefully over the following items:

- ALL PARTICIPANTS (players, parents, and spectators) must screen and sign a tracking sheet located in a binder labelled GMHI Contact Tracing near the membership desk at YMCA. Players, parents, and spectators are encouraged to self-screen before arriving at

the facility using the following online tool: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/screening/customer/, and are asked to attend only if they pass.

- ALL PLAYERS must bring a completed medical form with them to their first ice time.  Medical forms are available on our website under the Players/Parents tab or click the link provided:

https://goderichminorhockey.ca/Public/Documents/FormsAndApplications/HTCP_Medical_Form.pdf

- Entrance to the arena has changed from last year and all players/parents are to enter the YMCA main sliding doors at the front entrance.

- Masks must be worn when entering the facility and worn at all times.  Players must be masked and distance themselves in the dressing room as well.  Participants may remove their mask just before leaving the dressing room heading to the ice surface.

- Spectators are welcome to attend to a max capacity of 200 people with adequate social distance.  Dressing rooms have a max capacity of 30 (this total includes all participants, parents, coaches, etc).  One parent per player is allowed for our younger participants that require assistance getting ready.

We have received a recommendation from the HPPHU regarding dressing rooms and respectively request that all unvaccinated parents refrain from entering the dressing rooms. If your player requires assistance getting dressed, please arrive with your player in base equipment. The bench area along the east end of the arena ice surface is available for putting on the remainder of equipment, skates, etc. Players should arrive no more than 30 mins prior to their scheduled ice time and must vacate no later than 30 mins past their scheduled ice time.
