Goderich meets Teeswater
The boys faced a tough Teeswater team on Saturday morning at the Sifto Arena. The game was tight for the first period and a half with neither team able to get past some stellar defensive work at both ends of the ice.
Teeswater finally broke the deadlock with three quick goals. The boys weren't going to give up easily and they fought back offensively. From behind the net, Owain Sykes fed the puck out front to Christian Pritchard, who was perfectly positioned to pop one in the net. The Sailors were now on the board late in the 2nd.
Despite an awesome offensive effort in the third period the game ended in a 3 - 1 loss for the Sailors. We'll get them next time boys!
