In order to celebrate the historic milestone of the 75th Young Canada Week tournament - the longest running minor hockey tournament in Canada - a special event day has been planned for Monday March 16th, 2026.
This event day will feature showcase games from the newly formed A zone within the WOAA, as well as a U13A girls game featuring the Huron Heat and Kincardine and a U18 AAA game with the Sarnia Jr Sting vs Grey Bruce Highlanders.
The gymnasium of the Maitland Recreation Centre will be transformed into a smaller version of Toronto's Hockey Hall of Fame. We are thrilled that the HHOF is bringing along over 4000 square feet of exhibits, interactive games, the Legends theatre and trophies to be displayed. In addition, a walk through the decades of Young Canada Week will display photos, articles and memorabilia from 1950 to today. All showcase games and the Hockey Hall of Fame are free admission.

Toronto Maple Leaf Alumni team, featuring
Doug Gilmour and more are coming to Goderich to take on a select few of the Young Canada Week alumni players. We thrilled to announce that former NHL and YCW alumni's
Dave McIllwain and
Cal O'Reilly will be suiting up for the YCW Alumni team!! This is a ticketed event and tickets will be available soon.
