Goderich Rep Tournament Rules – 2016
1. All teams must be ready to go on the ice 15 minutes before scheduled time.
2. Each team is guaranteed 3 games.
3. Game during regular tournament play: 10-10-12 Novice & Atom
4. Each team allowed one 30 second time out.
5. Straight time if 5 goal differential. Only in 3rd period of Championship Game. In either case the clock will remain straight time, regardless if the differential becomes less than 5 goals.
6. OMHA approved rosters and Travel Permits must be presented to the Tournament Convener before your first game.
7. Entry fee is $650.00 (no gate fee)
8. All OMHA rules apply. Tournament convener’s decision is final.
9. Points are awarded as follows:
a. 2 pts for a win
b. 1 pt for a tie
c. 0 pts for a loss.
d. No OT in regular tournament play
10. Tie breaker rules:
a. Win/Loss Record
b. Head to Head
c. Goals for % (as calculated on the website standings)
d. Goals against
e. Least penalty minutes
f. Flip of a Coin
11. Overtime for “Finals” games will consist of 5min sudden victory with 3 skaters plus goalie per side. Play until we have a winner.
