A Successful Season
We finished the season with 22 wins,15 losses, and 4 ties. We had an unbeaten streak of 14 straight games. We finished in second place out of 12 teams in the regular season. We won the Exeter Dairy Queen Challenge Cup Tournament.

I would like to thank Mike McBride and Shawn Dickson for helping with the coaching duties this year. It was a lot of fun working with both of you. I couldn't have asked for two better guys to work with. Thank you to Tim Stinson for stepping up and being the trainer this year. Thank you to Todd Larkin and Dan Noel for stepping in when needed. It is nice knowing that we always had extra help when needed.

Thank you to Jen Evans, Drew Evan, Mike McBride and Lorraine McBride for looking after the team jerseys. Thank you to Jen Evans for being the parent liaison for the season.

Thank you to Jill Bazinet and Shelly Stinson for stepping up and working together as the team managers. Being the team manager is a big job and both of you did an amazing job with all the duties that you had to look after.

Thank you to the parents. Thank you for having the boys to the rink at a decent time so we could prepare for each game and practice. Thank you for bringing your boys to the late-night road games and always acting with class in the stands.

Thank you to the players. Without you guys, we do not have a team. Thank you for all your hard work throughout the season. We finished the season with 22 wins, 15 losses and 4 ties. We had an unbeaten streak of 14 straight games. We finished in second place out of 12 teams in the regular season. We won the Exeter Dairy Queen Challenge Cup Tournament. Playoffs did not go the way we wanted, but that is hockey. Unfortunately, we had a lot of injuries and sickness during the playoffs. The most rewarding thing for me as your head coach this year was watching you guys become a team and buy into the "Holding The Rope" and "Dudes" structure. I hope all of you had a fun season and learned something throughout the season.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

Last but not least I would like to congratulate the players who received awards this year. The decision making and process to select the award winners was not an easy one. Each player worked so hard this year and represented Goderich incredibly both on and off the ice this year.

Most Improved Player - Caden Beange
Most Sportsmanlike Player - Alex Noel
Most Dedicated Player - Evan McBride
Jared Fisher Memorial Award (Good Qualities Of Citizenship) - Kylen "Machacho" Menchenton
Mark Rae Mathers Memorial Award (Best Defensive Midget Hockey Player) - Jacob Stinson

Thanks Again Everyone

Coach Bazinet
