PeeWee Kinsmen Sailors Extended Their Unbeaten Streak to Six, Hosting the Blyth-Brussels Crusaders
The Sailors controlled this game, with most of the play in the Crusader end, but the Blyth-Brussels team had great goaltending and a strong defence with lots of hustle keeping continuous pressure on the Sailors. They forced quick shots through traffic and the boys just couldn't find the net.

Brussels went on the board 1st late in the 1st period crashing the Goderich net till they got the job done.

The lone Sailor goal came on a back to basics two man rush after a pass from Kaden up to Aiden, who took a hard shot from the hash marks, and Luke skating with him and in position for the rebound shot, scored at 7:42 of the 2nd period.

Fast smart Goderich defence helped out by the hustle of forwards getting back, broke up the most of the Crusader rushes in the neutral zone. Ben did have to make several great saves against one man break aways, this was a goaltenders game with both teams playing some excellent hockey and coming away with the 1-1 draw. The re-match is in Blyth on December 16th and should be another great game.

The boys are back in action next at the Mitchell Tournament on Saturday November 14th, 9:05am at the Mitchell Memorial Arena versus Dorchester, 3:35pm versus New Hamburg, and Sunday the 15th at the Elma Logan Arena at 10:10am versus Tavistock.

Come out and cheer them on!
