Jenkins Bantam Rep Battle back to go up in the series
After a 3-1 defeat in game one at home the boys have battled back to go up in the series and are 1 point away from a Championship.
The Jenkins Bantam Rep team lost game one to TCDMHA 3-1 at home. The boys traveled to Chatsworth on Tuesday March 17/15 it was a offence breakout with both team scoring 5 goals a piece the game ended in a 5-5 tie. On March 19/15 the teams meet again in Goderich in front of the home crowd the boys battled hard. It was a a goalie battle with both goalies making great saves. It end 1-1 after regulation play. So into OT again. Part way through OT Carter and Tyson played give and go out of the corner with Carter roofing a backhand over the TCDMHA goalie to secure the win. Great effort boys.
On March 24/15 the boys return to Chatsworth with fire in their eyes. TCDMHA struck first but less then a minute later Mark score on a wrap around with Bayden picking up a assist. Two minutes later David extended our lead with a shot from the corner which banked in off a skate out front. Carter made it 3-1 on a tip from the a shot from point by Alex. TCDMHA pulled within one goal 2 minutes later. Bayden restored the two goal lead3 minutes later with Brady picking up a assist. Jenkins Bantams where up 4-2 at the break.
TCDMHA pulled back to within 1 goal again 3 minutes into the third. Mark restored our 2 goal lead bang home a rebound. Mitchell picked u a assist on the goal. The Sailors continue to press and killed off a 4 minute penalty in the next 5 minutes. Hard work keep the puck in the TCDMHA end and Carter snapped home the insurance goal. To make the fans breath easy. The Boys are coming home with a chance to finish the series up 5 points to 3.
