A Big Win Against the Wildcats!
November 26 - Goderich
Sailors vs. Normanby Wildcats. After a tough loss to the first place Mitchell Meteors, the
Sailors bounced back beautifully with an outstanding effort against the
daunting, second place Normanby Wildcats.
Despite the Sailors coming out strong out in the first period, the
Wildcats managed to land 2 goals near the end of the period. Down 2-0 going into the second period, Kyler
put Goderich on the board with a beautiful goal (assisted by Justin) to end the
period 2-1. A minute into the
third period, Justin tied the game 2-2 with a nice set-up by Kyler and
Jordyn.
At the 11:24 mark of the period, Kyler landed his second goal (assisted by Justin and Carter) to put Goderich in the lead 3-2. For the remainder of the period the Sailors continued to fight hard, with superb back checking by the offensive line (Ethan, Kyler, Jordyn, Lucas Scott and Kylen), strong defense (Caden, Braeden, Carter and Erin) and as always, awesome goaltending by Bryson! The hard work, digging and aggressive play by the Sailors definitely paid off to secure the win! Let’s keep it going Sailors!
