A Close and Exciting Win!
November 19 - Goderich
Sailors vs. Mount Forest Rams. The rematch against the evenly matched Mount Forest Rams was
a narrow win with home ice advantage carrying the day for the Sailors. The first goal of the game went to the
Rams at the 5:20 mark of the first period, but was soon answered with a goal by
Justin (assisted by Snowden) to end the period tied 1-1. Justin gave the Sailors a narrow 2-1 edge half way
through the second period with top shelf goal that was once again set-up by
Snowden.
The remainder of the second period and entire third period was a close back and forth battle between the two teams. Great offense and hard work by the defensive line, combined with awesome goaltending by Bryson secured the win for the Sailors at 2-1. The team also managed to stay out of the penalty box for the entire game! Let’s keep it up Sailors!
