November Wins for the Bantam Reps
The SCI Bantam Reps celebrated some victories and continued to gel as a team in November.

The Sailors met the Seaforth Stars at the YMCA on October 27. The team had a cautious start to the first period, but Mykal Hodges opened things up for them at 3:46, scoring on a pass from Steve De Jager. Shortly into the second period, the Stars tied things up, but the Sailors came back to regain the lead when De Jager banked his first of the night, from Nick Souch, making it 2-1 Sailors. The Seaforth team played a tight second period and made it difficult for the Sailors to get into their zone again. They did just that in the third, though, when Hodges passed over to De Jager who once again found his mark, 3-1 Sailors. The Stars regained some momentum at the end of the third to score one more time, making it a 3-2 final score for the Goderich team.
The Walkerton Capitals met a similar fate on November 19 when the Sailors met up with them for a fast-paced game that showed our boys' perseverance and determination. Dominic Burbine got things started for the Sailors in the first period as he scored on passes from Tyler Johnson and Hodges.  Hodges contributed one a few seconds later, never giving up on his quest to gain possession of the puck, 2-0 Sailors. As the boys continued to battle and dig for the puck, they were rewarded as Burbine scored his second of the game, 3-0.  In the second period, Kody Langlois sent a beauty of a pass to Hodges from behind the net, to put the Goderich team up by 4 goals. The Capitals retaliated with a couple of goals in the third period, making it 4-2 Goderich, but Burbine came up with the hat-trick, adding another goal to the Sailors' tally, for a 5-2 victory.
The Sailors shut out the Mount Forest Rams on their home ice on November 22. Sailors were digging in hard from the first puck drop, and goalie Jordan Johnston made some beautiful saves to preserve the shut-out. Tyler Johnson, Kody Langlois both scored, making it 2-0 Sailors. And Langlois also tucked in the empty-netter at the end of the game to clinch the win for the Sailors, 3-0.
