Strong Teamwork at Silver Stick Tourney!
December 27-29. The kids continued to show great improvement with their
individual skills and teamwork at the Kincardine Silver Stick Tournament. The competition was stiff with
opponents like Mount Forest, BCH and Kincardine, but the Sailors held their own
and worked hard right up until the last second of each game. The closest (and by far the most
exciting) game of the tournament was against BCH with a close 3-2 loss in the
last few seconds of the game.
Goals of the tournament went to Cody and Joseph, with assists by Jack, Remi and
Dylan.
The entire offensive and defensive lines exhibited strong determination and skill in all three games. Grayson shutdown numerous attempts by the three opposing teams and landed the player of the game award against Mount Forest for his outstanding goaltending. Congratulations Sailors for your perseverance and hard work!
