Sailors Hold Their Own in Aylmer
November 18-19 - Novice Tournament.  Going up against some very strong competition, the Sailors held their own at the tournament in Aylmer – showing great perseverance and improvement as a team.  The Sailors won the first game of the tournament in an exciting and close 4-3 win over Dresden.  Hat trick honors went to Jack on the first three goals, with Joseph sealing the win with a fourth goal (assisted by Cody).

The next two games were unfortunately not victories for the Sailors, but the kids gave it their all despite the tough odds against the tough Mt. Brydges and Aylmer teams.   The offensive line (Cody, Paige, Ethan, Ryan, Wilder, Caleb, Jacob, Jack and Joseph) had many close chances throughout the tournament and worked hard on passing and moving the puck up the ice.   The defensive line  (Evan, Dylan, Remi and Connor) did an equally good job defending their end against the many attacks by the enemy.  Once again, Grayson shutdown numerous scoring attempts by the opposing team with some outstanding saves!   Good job kids!
