Strong Effort Against the Ice Dogs
November 11 - Goderich Sailors vs. BCH Ice Dogs.  The first regular season game against the BCH Ice Dogs started with a rush by Jack to land the first goal one minute into the game (assisted by Evan).  The strong effort by the Sailors continued throughout the first and second periods with many close scoring opportunities for the Sailors, superb defense and awesome goaltending by Grayson.

The third period began with a 2-1 lead for the Bull Dogs which grew to a 3-1 lead at the 10 minute mark – however, this third goal was quickly answered with a beautiful goal by Cody (assisted by Caleb) to close the gap at 3-2.   The kids all worked hard with good positioning, passing and team work – however, despite the even play and many more close scoring chances by the Sailors, the Bull Dogs got some lucky breaks and landed 4 more goals to end the game 7-2.  Keep up the hard work kids!
