A Hair Saving Event!!!
It was worth the drive to Kincardine tonight for some boys on the PeeWee LL team.

They boys worked like a well oiled machine tonight in Kincardine and were rewarded with a win.  Trainer Les Phillips jokingly told some of the boys that not getting a goal would cost them their hair and even got their mom's involved the the sceme!
Robert Shelhamer was the first to put the puck in the net with an assist from Tanner Lewis. Tanner then secured his curly locks by finding the back of the net unassisted. Next, Kyle Smith, in an effort to save his hair, put one past the Kincardine netminder with a pass from Mitchell Brewster. The final goal for Goderich was from Daniel McNeil-Turner who received the puck from Robert Shelhamer.
Owain Sykes, Hadden Williamson and Dirk Wolterbeek also skated well and even though they had chances of their own, the Kincardine goalie somehow found the puck and stopped the Goderich team at getting any more than 4 goals.
Defensively, Quin Ross, Ethan Milne, Mason Clarke, and Tyler Phillips played their most aggressive game yet. All 4 defencemen, did everything they could to not let the Kincardine team past the blue line and if they did get passed, the boys were quick to get the puck back and out of the zone.
Goalie Noah Smith stood on his head tonight leaving some of us in the stands wondering "How'd he stop that???"
Great job to all the boys on the excellent team play, body checking, and passing! Let's keep the momentum going!!
