Sailors continue to work hard
The Sailors traveled to Listowel on Saturday. Listowel got off to a fast start leading 2-0 after the first period. The Sailors responded well in the second with Andy Clark getting the Sailors first goal unassisted. Chris Govier scored the second Sailors goal assisted by Harley Oster and Sean Hastie. Kyle Larkin added the third goal of the period with only assist going to Andy Clark. Coulton Smith added to the lead half way through the third with the only assist going to Braeden Duncan. Listowel added two more goals to win the game 5-4.
Sailors came home to face Brussels on Sunday and played a solid three periods of hockey with Greg Morningstar turn away every shot he face in a 4-0 win. Sean Hastie opened the scoring with assists going to Carston Gardiner and Austin Lietch. Andy Clark banged in the second goal of the game with assists going to Brian Love and Kyle Larkin. Sean Hastie scored his second of the game with assists going to Carston Gardiner and Ayrn Buchanan. Chris Govier finished the scoring with Justin Lietch picking up the only assist. Great Team effort.
