Disappointment For Bantam Reps
Despite their best efforts, the Sailors were unable to claim victory in their next two games in the Listowel playoff series.

Game three versus the Listowel Cyclones, which was played on the Sailors' home ice, was another hard and fast game that ended up in OT. The Goderich boys showed good hustle and attack from the outset.  Tyler Moss was the first to score for the Sailors, letting one fly from the point, and putting his team up by a score of 1-0.  The Cyclones countered late in the period and tied it up.  But just seconds before the buzzer, Mykal Hodges scored on a nice setup from Taylor Helesic, putting the Sailors on top again heading into the second. Again in the second period, it was the Listowel team trying to catch up, and an overabundance of Sailor penalties made that easier for them. They tied it up at 2 on a power play goal, then went up by one at the end of the period, 3-2 Cyclones. The Sailors knew they needed to at least tie it up in the third, but the Cyclones were aggressively defending their lead.  That didn't stop Eric MacPhee from making it happen though, on a screamer from the blue line, with just a minute left in the period, and assisted by Luke Fraser.  The overtime period was short however, as the Cyclones were able to slide one in within the first minute of play.  The Cyclones had the series, two games to one, heading into Listowel for Game four.
Game four is a game our boys would rather forget, as the Cyclones took them to task at every turn.  Lady Luck seemed to be shining down on that team as well that night.  The Cyclones were up by a score of 6-0 by the end of the second period. Trevor Lockie and Taylor Helesic foiled the shut-out by adding two goals to our score, assisted by DJ Stevenson and Harry Parsons. It wasn't enough though, as the Listowel team went on to win the game 9-2, and the series 3 games to 1.
