On Sunday night in Mount Forest, the Midget Sailorettes won a 3-0 major victory over the top ranked Mount Forest Rams.
In three close played periods, the Sailorettes managed to withstand the Mount Forest offense and score three unanswered goals.
With Assistance from Jacqueline Martin and Taylor Pritchard, Rachel Sowerby scored the first Goderich goal. Sowerby's goal would prove to be the game winner.
In a shot from the slot, Kelsa Curran fired the puck between the Mount Forest goaltender's pads and scored the second Sailorette goal.
With less than a minute of play in the third period, the Sailorettes were outnumbered 6 skaters to three, Emily Gordon scored a stunning short handed goal on Mount Forest's open net.
Quick acting defensive work from Laura Smith and Kristen McColl, allowed Jessica Yates to earn the shut out.
