Sailors defeated by Ice Dogs January 23, 2009
The Sailors fell to the BCH Ice Dogs 7-3 on January 23, 2009.
Bayden Parent scored the first Goderich goal, assisted by Travis Sloan. Later in the first period, Trent Buchanan scored, unassisted. Leaving the Sailors up 2-1 at the end of the first period. However the Ice Dogs answered back with 2 more goals in the second period.
Sloan was able to score one additional goal for Goderich, assisted by Carter Tomlinson and Bayden Parent. The Sailors could not answer back in the third, with BCH scoring four more.
Jacob Abbott played a strong game in net.
The final score was 7-3.
