January 4, 2009 Sailors vs. Cyclones
After an early morning practice on Sunday, January 4, 2009 the Sailors travelled to Listowel to challenge the Cyclones in a regular season game. Trent Buchanan scored in the first period, assisted by Bayden Parent, which would be the sole goal for the Sailors. The Cyclones did not answer back until the second period. Then with only 2:35 left in the game, the Cyclones took the lead, leaving the final score 2-1. Prouse played a strong game in net for the Sailors.
