PeeWee AE Team Start Season
The Goderich Kinsmen PeeWee AE team started their season with an exhibition game against Listowel on October 6. The final score was 5-3 for Goderich. Goals were scored by Kyle Gerdes, Chad Kernighan (2), Harry Parsons and Mark Pletsch. Assisting were Mitchell Clarke (2), Alex Conlon, Quinn Frayne, Ben Martin (2), Tyler Moss and Jamie Wilkinson as well as Gerdes and Kernighan. Also contributing to the team effort were Brad Gethke, Austin Kernighan and Jesse Stevenson. Goaltender Brady Bowman was outstanding between the pipes. The team had their season opener against Clifford on October 20. Unfortunately they were defeated 4-2 in a hard-fought game. Goderich goals were scored by Quinn Frayne and Kyle Gerdes. Once again goaltender Brady Bowman made many great saves to keep his team in the game.
