Midgets Advance to OWHA finals
Huronia Midgets advance to OWHA finals tournament in April by placing in the top four at the regional playdown tournament on the March 1st weekend. Ripley was the first victiim where Goderich played an incredible passing game to win 1-0 in regular time. The second game was Mitchell and after outplaying them from the second period on, the game ended in a 1-0 loss in overtime. Frustrated with the loss Goderich took it out on Arran-Elderslie pounding them 6-0 and earning them a spot in Toronto. With two tournaments to go before the Provincials the midgets plan to fine tune before April and look forward to the competition in Toronto.
