Midget Rep Advance to Round 2
The Midget Rep successfully defeated Kincardine in round 1 of OMHA playoffs 7 points to 5. The games were all very close as the teams were very evenly matched. Game #3 ended in a tie even after overtime. This resulted in the series being decided by points. Game #4 was played in Kincardine and was the most exciting of the series as Kincardine went ahead by one goal with 24 seconds left in the game. Even though it looked like the series might have been over, our boys didn't give up and tied the score with 0.2 seconds left on the clock. Overtime saw a lot of back and forth play, but Goderich came out victorious with 13 seconds left with a goal from Tyler Million.
This sent us into round #2 vs. Hanover. So far, this series has been VERY tough and physical as Hanover is a hard-hitting, fast team. The series is scheduled for a 3 ouot of 5 and stands at 2 games to 1 for Hanover right now. Game #3 is to be played at the MRC on Thursday, Feb. 7th at 9:00pm. Please come out to cheer our boys on.
