PeeWee Reps split pair of playoff games
The Goderich Lions Club PeeWee Rep team headed to BCH on Sat Jan 12th 2008 to play the Ice Dogs in their first playoff game of the 2008 season.

The game was hard fought by both teams however the local boys ended up on top of the game with a 4-3 victory.  Captain Andrew Avis sealed the victory with one of his patented shots from the point that rocketed over the shoulder of the BCH netminder to break the tie, late in the game.

Sunday night saw the boys host the Kincardine Flyers.  The game was fast paced and Kincardine opened the scoring first however the local boys did not give up.  The game was tied 3-3 late in the 3rd period however, one of the Flyers found himself open in front of the net and found the mark to put the Flyers up by one.

Our boys had numerous chances but could not capitalize on their scoring chances and went on to be defeated 4-3.

The boys are looking forward to their two remaining games in the first round of playoffs.
