A Strong Victory!
On December 22, 2012, the Goderich Sailors Atom LL2 travelled to Mitchell to face the always challenging Meteors. The Sailors came out fighting hard for the puck and were rewarded with a goal in the first period by Stinson thanks to a beautiful pass from Menchenton. In the second period, the dynamic pair of Stinson and Menchenton hooked up again to put the Sailors up (2-0). Again in the third period, the pair of Stinson and Menchenton teamed up to pot two more goals this time scored by Menchenton and assisted by Stinson.
Although the scoring was lead by Stinson and Menchenton the team as a whole dominated the play from start to finish and came away with yet another victory. Oster scored his second straight shutout and his second of the year stopping all 10 shots from the Mitchell Meteors.
