Playoff Round Robin
The playoff round robin began this weekend with a win at home and a road loss in Teeswater.
The Sailors won the first playoff game and extended the win streak to three games by edging Drayton 2-1. The game went down to the wire but a goal with 28 seconds remaining in the third sealed the win.
The second game of the weekend was a road loss to Teeswater, 7-2. The big ice surface and fast skating home team put the Sailors on their heals early in the game. The team was trailing 6-0 at the end of two but despite the lopsided score, the Sailors regrouped in the third period and scored two goals.
