Goderich vs. Minto
The Atom LL Sailors hosted a game in Goderich against Minto on Feb. 14th.
The First period of the game came and went quickly without a goal for either team. In the second period the Minto boys scored two goals fairly late in the period, leaving the Goderich LL Sailors behind without any goals. Without being discouraged the boys were able to come from behind and Chris Govier scored a goal quick into the third period with help from Liam Armstrong. With the tables turned Liam Armstrong was able to bring the game to a tie with just over four minutes left with an assist for Chris Govier. The boys were not going to let it settle with a tie so with only 1:50 left in the game Braeden Duncan scored a goal with help from Cody Souch, taking the Atom LL Sailors to a lead with a score of 3-2. They were able to keep the lead and they WON a well deserved game!!!
